Hi, I’m Cindy — writer, hiker, skier (in progress), and recent transplant from Austin, Texas to Park City, Utah. After 25 years in Texas, my husband and I packed a U-Box, signed a lease on a furnished townhouse, and headed for the Wasatch.

This blog is my way of keeping a record of that move — the road trips, the settling in, and the everyday quirks of mountain-town life. If you followed my old blog SwissFamilyTexans when we lived in Zurich, this feels like the sequel: new mountains, same storyteller.
